A friend introduced it to me a couple of years ago & I'm so glad she did. I used to be a sound sleeper when I was younger, but for whatever reason, I'm not sleeping as sound as I used to. In some cases, I would have a hard time shutting down and falling asleep to begin with or I'd wake up in the middle of the night & then deal with insomnia for a few hours. Not good.I tried this product (never having tried any sleep aid of any kind before). I took 1/2 of what the recommended dose is and it works perfectly to put me to sleep and then keep me asleep all night. If I wake up in the middle of the night, the benefit is that I can fall right back to sleep versus staying awake. I never wake up groggy and feel very well rested the next day. I'm told that two Bendadry do the same thing without the grogginess, but I like that this product is natural versus a drug.One thing to note is that my body tends to metabolize things pretty quickly - and I'm one of the ones who usually needs twice the dosage of most things for them to take effect whatsoever. Like I said earlier, I only take 1/2 the recommended dose of this (two tablets) and it works just fine with me. I'm not sure why it's so effective given my typical history with other substances, but I'm OK with it.
