They never leak no matter what volume of liquid I empty into them at night. they have some special material that really absorbs & protects with odor. I used them when I had a hip replacement so I wouldn’t have to get my husband out of bed at night to help me into the bathroom. You don’t notice the wetness that much either, they have some kind of wicking property. It is so wonderful that my husband and I can sleep uninterrupted all through the night.
