**Q: Does it work with flat foot and navicular bone accessory?**
A: Yes I have flat feet and works well. Best brace I have had to play basketball

**Q: What are the two extra pieces of  velcro for? The directions are awful and dont explain where they go?**
A: Not sure what you mean by "extra" pieces...two straps criss cross around the foot & get stuck on the ankle. Then there's the straps that go around the ankle to fasten it.
