The consistency is soft and milky, it absorbs quickly and feels very light. I experienced no adverse reactions and noticed its effects very quickly. The skin under my eyes is tighter, dark circles are less noticeable and there is much less puffiness. I am really happy with the improvements to the skin around my eyes. One thing that the manufacturer claims is that it reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Unfortunately this is one area where I have not noticed any (significant) change. Maybe this will change in time. The tube seems quite small but since only a small amount of creme is needed it will last a while.
