I am very satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Too fragile: good while it lasted, but not recommended *by L***Z on February 9, 2016* I was very excited to get this for my 2-1/2-year-old daughter as I wanted her to have her own glass bottle. This seemed like the perfect bottle for her age because of the silicone straw and the lanyard, and it's very cute as well. I also liked that the glass is borosilicate, which meant I could add hot water and not worry about the sudden change in temperature for the glass. It wasn't too heavy for her to hold while she was drinking from it either, and she is rather petite. I did have a slight issue with the straw slipping down (not completely, but I would have to pull it back up) every once in a while, but it was something I could live with. Unfortunately, within less than two months of owning this, it broke.I have been very careful with this, not even allowing her to bring it to daycare--she only used it when she was with me. But I accidentally dropped it from the passenger seat of a sedan to the asphalt, about a drop of a foot and a half or less. The plastic bottom came off upon impact and the glass shattered. I was VERY disappointed as I was under the impression that the outer layer would protect the glass. I have a Takeya glass water bottle with silicone sleeve and have dropped it numerous times on different surfaces, including asphalt. Of course, each drop gave me a mini heart attack, but there's not even a scratch on the bottle except on the plastic cap, which is understandable.For the price of this bottle and its target audience (kids), I would not recommend this bottle at all. I have since gotten my daughter a different glass water bottle with a silicone sleeve. Even though it may not keep her water warm as long, I have more confidence in the silicone sleeve protecting the glass than I do this plastic outer layer. ### ⭐⭐ The straw significantly changes the taste of the water *by I***P on January 18, 2015* I am not sure if I should give this product 5 stars or 1 star. This would have been the best bottle I've ever gotten for my daughter (holds lots of water, my 2 year old can easily hold it in her small hands, did not break after being dropped on the floor few times already AND the major advantage is that it's made out of borosilicate glass!) BUT... the straw significantly changes the taste of the water! So I wonder what exactly is it made out of (the description says food grade ???material????)...and what is it leaching into the water.
