This book comes in English and Spanish. **Q: Why is this more expensive than just buying the two books separate? They cost $14 each?** A: This question should be answered by seller not buyers **Q: Do these books work independently or do you need a Leap Frog system?** A: They work independently but.... we had to gorilla glue the language selection to English for my 1 year old grandson...if you need Spanish or have a bilingual child I'm sure it's great but the button could have been placed on the back where it's out of the way of little fingers.
