Review: Best WIFI router for home - Works like a charm. This one is more expensive than most WIFI routers, but for good reason. It is extremely easy to setup and it has some really useful features which you wont find on normal routers like d-link or tp-link and linksys. You can control wifi signal by each device and even setup timings for device to start and stop. I can control my child's usage because her mobile stops getting wifi signal at specific timings. I get alerts whenever a new device joins the network. If you are already using Google wifi, then I recommend that you buy this nest wifi and use your google wifi device as a point for extended coverage. Since this is mesh system, it works much better than wifi extenders. Few drawbacks are 1. Etisalat will not do configuration for this router. So you will have to continue using the router provided by Etisalat and connect this nest router to your etisalat router. 2. This does not have USB port. So you cannot connect external HDDs to use as media server on Kodi or VLC. Review: Beyond Expectation - This is Router with WIFI (802.11ac), and also can support Mesh solution. A single device can cover my full appartment size (2500 sqm) - well placed. You may need additional device if you have bigger space to cover. This device can be managed from Google Home app (available on Appstore and Playstore). But Google WiFI is only available on Playstore for the UAE region, and it is not available on AppStore. You may need it only if you want to have advanced configuration (DHCP, static, DDNS, and analytics). ## Features - Maximum Range : 2200 Sq Ft - This product includes one router unit - The Wi-Fi router plugs into your internet provider's modem to create your Wi-Fi network For more coverage add Nest Wifi routers or points to your system - Please refer to the product description section below for all applicable legal disclaimers denoted by the bracketed numbers in the preceding bullet points (eg [1] [2] etc) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07YMKD6SM | | Antenna Location | Home, Small Business, Multi-Device Households | | Antenna Type | Internal | | Best Sellers Rank | #15,421 in Computers ( See Top 100 in Computers ) #273 in Routers | | Brand | Google | | Built-In Media | Google Nest WiFi Router | | Color | White | | Compatible Devices | Laptop, Personal Computer, Smart Television, Tablet | | Compatible devices | Laptop, Personal Computer, Smart Television, Tablet | | Connectivity Protocol | Wi-Fi | | Connectivity Range | 2200 Square Feet | | Connectivity Technology | Wi-Fi | | Control Method | App | | Controller Type | App Control | | Coverage | 2200 sq ft | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 32 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 2200 Megabits Per Second | | Frequency | 5 GHz | | Frequency Band Class | Dual-Band | | Frequency band class | Dual-Band | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00193575001593 | | Has Internet Connectivity | Yes | | Is Modem Compatible | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 11L x 11W x 9H centimeters | | Item Weight | 454 g | | LAN Port Bandwidth | 1 megabits per second | | Manufacturer | Google Incorporated (Unlocked) | | Maximum Upstream Data Transfer Rate | 2200 Megabits Per Second | | Mfr Part Number | GA00595-US | | Model Name | GA00595-US | | Model Number | GA00595-US | | Model name | GA00595-US | | Number of Antennas | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Ports | 1 | | Operating System | Linux | | Other Special Features of the Product | WPS | | Router Network Type | wireless | | Security Protocol | WPS | | Special features | WPS | | UPC | 193575001593 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Wi-Fi Generation | Wi-Fi 5 | | Wireless Compability | 802.11ac | | Wireless communication standard | 802.11ac | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Google - **Frequency band class:** Dual-Band - **Model name:** GA00595-US - **Special features:** WPS - **Wireless communication standard:** 802.11ac ## Images ![Google GA00595-US Nest WiFi Router - 4x4 AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh System with 2200 Sq ft Coverage - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41R76eHf+iL.jpg) ![Google GA00595-US Nest WiFi Router - 4x4 AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh System with 2200 Sq ft Coverage - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ene2iOgHL.jpg) ![Google GA00595-US Nest WiFi Router - 4x4 AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh System with 2200 Sq ft Coverage - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/416IQ7WCh1L.jpg) ![Google GA00595-US Nest WiFi Router - 4x4 AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh System with 2200 Sq ft Coverage - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51xuNBHiJWL.jpg) ![Google GA00595-US Nest WiFi Router - 4x4 AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh System with 2200 Sq ft Coverage - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51+TiotD7NL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this be integrated with the old google WiFi?** A: Yes **Q: Does this have warranty?** A: No **Q: Can i use this with the DU wireless 5G nokia gateway to extend the range?** A: This router needs to connect to your WiFi modem using an ethernet cable.
