This means that holding a square in your right hand the zero is on the left and in your left hand the zero is on the right, as it should be. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice. *by J***B on 9 December 2025* Question: How much difference can a decent combination square make? Answer: A HUGE amount! Only got this new square as my old one developed a stain at the beginning of the scale making small measurements awkward. Little did I realise what I'd been missing! The screw on my old one was basically digital - either super tight, or the scale flopping about. This Presch one is super smooth, and that goes for adjusting the scale as well - lovely smooth action., then just lightly snug up the screw and it's locked solid. Spend the extra few quid on this one and you won't be disappointed. After all, how often do you buy a new combination square?
