If you follow the care instructions and do not put it in the dryer the lining maintains the same soft consistency as it had on the day it arrived. While it does take awhile to dry I have found it goes faster if you let it dry inside out and then turn it right side out to finish drying. I love wearing it everyday and plan on buying a second one so I can always have a clean one to wear around the house. The sweater is also true to size.
