Since taking them at the recommended dosage, I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps in my hands daily, and "restless leg syndrome" at night, where my right calve would tingle/tighten. My initial prognoses was that these symptoms were the result of heavy weightlifting and my age. But then I went on a 3 week vacation and opted not to take any of my ON supplements. Within a day or two the cramping and restless leg syndrome stopped and it wasn't until I returned home and started taking my supplements again that these issues returned. So I started researching each of my supplements (BCAA, CLA, Glutamine, and L-Carnitine) and I read that Dr. Oz had retracted his statements on the benefits of L-Carnitine, as there is little to no clinical proof that it helps in weight loss or energy gain, and that continued use of the supplement could lead to health issues. I then stopped taking this supplement immediately.
