Review: These High-Quality Chairs Are Very Comfortable, Last Forever, and Worth Every Penny - Worth the price. The genuine Eurotech chairs are high quality and noticeably superior to the copies on the market. I am 6 foot 4 inches tall, 270 pounds, and the chair can be adjusted to fit me perfectly. It also can be adjusted to fit a user barely 5 feet tall. The chairs are solid and supportive, and you can feel the quality. I previously had a prior version of this chair for 15 years and it never failed me (except for one warrantee hydraulic cylinder replacement, which was also a simple process). I sold the chair and it is still going strong for the new owner. Most importantly, unlike with cheap office chairs, I can sit all day comfortably with no back soreness. The lumbar support is great. It takes about 10 minutes to assemble - just snap the casters in the base, place the hydraulic cylinder in the base, put the seat on the hydraulic cylinder, slide the head rest into the seat back, then use 2 supplied cap screws with the supplied wrench for each arm rest to the seat, and finally 4 cap screws to secure the back to the seat. Assembly note - quality is heavy - might need help if you can't lift 25-30 pounds. After that, have some fun playing with the insane number of ways you can adjust the chair for your individual comfort. I'm not paid and not a bot - just a happy customer for decades.

As someone who works from home at a PC for untold hours each month, the investment has been more than justified by the comfort and adjustability of this chair. I did encounter a significant failure but it was immediately remedied by the Eurotech company, as explained below! I am 6'2" and I find that it raises just high enough -- both height from the ground and height from seat to headrest. The mesh material is shockingly durable...I've been in this chair for thousands of hours and it has yet to show any signs of wear (3 years x 300 days (conservatively) x 6 hours per day (conservatively) = 5400). Rather amazing. Another reviewer mentioned that they'd prefer the seat to tilt up and down. I totally agree. That would alleviate stress points for many people, though personally I've made it irrelevant by purchasing a 'Geek Desk' which raises from a sitting to a standing height. I also wish that the lumbar support was more aggressive...for the past few years I've had an additional lumbar pillow on the chair, which causes me zero difficulty and results in a near-perfect sitting experience. The real reason I'm leaving this review is to praise Eurotech's warranty and customer service. After a crazy amount of using this chair, I one day found that it was locked all the way 'back', which is to say that I could not tilt it forward. I tried everything I could think of...tightening/loosening bolts, using WD-40 on key joints, etc. etc. Ultimately, I filled out a simple form with Eurotech including a PDF file of my original purchase. Within 10 hours a representative replied and said that no, I couldn't service it myself (as I'd hoped), but that yes, they would replace it. I needed a new 'Seat and Mech' in their parlance, which meant literally an entire new mesh seat with all of the attached mechanisms...it probably weighed 20 pounds, accounted for 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the entire chair's design, and yet they shipped it to me in a few days with ZERO cost for S&H or anything else. Truly an unparalleled customer-service experience. I bought this product with a 'Lifetime Warranty', it broke, and they fulfilled the warranty once I proved my original purchase. It shouldn't be revolutionary, but I've gotta say...it was a refreshing experience to get a brand new piece of pricy equipment with virtually no hoops to jump through. I could comment on every single aspect of this chair, so if you have a burning question please leave it below and I'll reply. **Q: I dont like armrests on my chair. Can the armrests be adjusted really low in this chair?**
A: They can be adjusted pretty low. Low enough that my elbows don't reach them. You can also leave them off the chair completely. They're mounted to the seat (you attach them upon assembly), and are not important for the construction or stability of the chair.

**Q: this looks like the V1 can someone confirm? I'm highly interested. I'm 6'2" cant find a comfortable office chair**
A: I am 6'2" and quite heavy.  I have been using mine for at least 6 years now in my home office.  I have had to replace parts.  Some things they replaced, some I had to pay for, but worth it overall even if I had to pay for all the parts.

It fits me well, is fairly comfortable and allows me to lean back in it, even if it is slightly short of my head.

I may buy another one (for a different use) soon too.

**Q: What is the material on the seat pan?  The picture appears to be a leather-like material, but the description states mesh??**
A: It's definitely a mesh. I'm not actually sure what the exact fabric used in the mesh is made of, but I think it's nylon. Couple of things you might want to know:1) It's definitely strong. I have a friend that's nearly 350 pounds that's sat in it frequently and the mesh doesn't even appear to be distorted in any way, let alone weakened or broken.2) The material doesn't really stick to your legs like leather does. Hot or cold, if you're wearing shorts or something and part of your actual skin is on it, you don't get any of that unpleasant stickiness.3) It's easy to wipe the actual mesh down to clean it. However, where the mesh meets the sides of the seat frame there's a noticeable crease. This crease will catch crumbs if you ever eat something in the chair and it can be a mild annoyance to clean the crumbs out. Not really a big deal, but I thought I'd mention it.4) The mesh seat gives, what is to me, a perfect combination of sturdy perch coupled with flexible relaxation.

**Q: Can the headrest be adjusted front to back?  I have had many that push my head too far forward.**
A: I can not find a position where the headrest does not push my head forward, and its not removable without special tools. It makes the chair unusable for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tall people can use.

I looked at purchasing a more expensive chair and did try out some models that I felt would accommodate my size. I am 6'5 with a 35" inseam, and 235 lbs. Most chairs are designed with average build and when looking at big and tall chairs, they tend to lean on the big with over sized seat and wider dimensions than practical for taller people. I think I had read every review on Amazon about the chair and felt this model would likely fit my dimensions. I did not go and sit in the chair because the nearest distributor that I could find was in Austin, TX. which is about a 10 hour round trip. One reviewer mentioned that you should go and sit in the chair for fit and finish and I can't over emphasize how true the recommendation. Pros: 1. Comfortable to sit in for extended hours. Can adjust to fit most body sizes, although I don't have any medical issues such as i.e, bad back, or nerve issues. Was able to adjust to be somewhat comfortable, however not a perfect fit. 2. Fairly easy to assemble, the controls are ingenuous in design, therefore you are not searching for the control lever needed to make an adjustment. Solid construction and materials appear to be of good quality. Cons: 1. The arms are slightly too wide apart. They do angle to accommodate, but I find my arms are not resting at a natural angle. The detente in the arms should require more pressure to move as stated in other reviews. I accidentally move them when sitting, minor annoyance. 2. The seat does slide forward and back to give proper support to your thigh, but when moved fully forward you end up sitting on the hard edge on the frame on aft section of the seat. I do keep the seat as far forward as possible without hitting the frame, but that still leaves an 4 - 6" gap from the back of my knee to the edge of the chair which should be less than 1-3 " according to most ergonomic statements. For me I do need a longer seat or at least goes further back. However, the chair height is perfect, fully raised I am at the idea position for sitting at the desk which is raised for my height. 3. One component with other chairs that I wish this one had, is the ability for the seat to move as you tilt back or forward to keep good posture. 4. The mesh on the chair is somewhat tacky / sticky (for lack of a better word) when new, but get better as you break-in the chair. Conclusion: The chair is not a panacea for all, but has compromises that make it a good mid range chair for most. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase considering design, comfort and price point.
