It works best with teams of 4-8 people. Much bigger than that, and the caucusing part of the game gets unruly. **Q: Can only two people play this enjoyably?** A: If you play with only two people, it's no longer a game but more of an activity. I played it a few times just me and my wife and we both had fun, but it certainly lacks that thrill of competition when you play against another team. I have a 12 & a 13 year old that play the game. They loved it from the get go and were able to learn and play the game very quickly. For younger players than that, if they seem to struggle you could probably handpick the cards so its easier for them to give clues or guess the clues given. But, like I said, my 12 & 13 year old learned it in one play and love playing it. Besides, this game can be played team vs team or all in the same team (cooperative). I hope this helps a little.
