I just received and installed my new replacement filter. It fit my LG refrigerator perfectly. After I installed it I let a couple of gallons flow through and dumped it as I was told to do with my original filter. After that I checked and there were no leaks, and the water came out clear. This is a lower cost alternative to replacing my water filter. It does seem a little bit smaller than the original, not much but a little, I don't think that would affect the function of the filter one bit. I utilize customer reviews heavily when I am trying to decide on a purchase and consider reviews a valuable tool for us as consumers to make informed choices as to where we spend our money.  Sometimes I will come back and give more information should I notice new things along the way. When looking at reviews I do take into consideration personal preference that may not reflect the product itself. I will do my best to acknowledge when something in my review is personal preference as opposed to something about the product itself.
