Review: Nice Light-duty Ball Heads - These seem like pretty nice light-duty ball heads. They are mostly metal, not overly complicated and adaptable to a wide range of uses. They would probably work well to hold a phone or point-and-shoot camera or an off-camera flash. I don't think they'd hold an SLR camera without slipping, but maybe. I'm planning to adapt them to hold Blink outdoor cameras. I didn't know that two came in a package, so I was pleasantly surprised. So far I'm really happy with these!

These seem like pretty nice light-duty ball heads. They are mostly metal, not overly complicated and adaptable to a wide range of uses. They would probably work well to hold a phone or point-and-shoot camera or an off-camera flash. I don't think they'd hold an SLR camera without slipping, but maybe. I'm planning to adapt them to hold Blink outdoor cameras. I didn't know that two came in a package, so I was pleasantly surprised. So far I'm really happy with these!

They work ok but the adjust ment doesn't hold well if you are using them upside down. I bought these to use on a boom stand and give my camera the ability to swivel more i found that upside down they dont hold well but overall not sure they aren't meant for that and the phone is a bit heavier then the led light i bought them for originally
