When setting the grinding jug to 25 it is a substantially steeper angle and would require lots of grinding to bring the whole bevel to 25. **Q: What is the gritt of the sharpening stone** A: There's one coarse side, and one finer side. Unfortunately they're not labeled so exact grit size is unknown. **Q: Do you need to oil these tools?** A: For the money they are the set of chisels I own, It's not necessary to oil them. **Q: How do you use the honing guide?** A: The honing guide hold the chisel at the correct angle for honing. Just clamp it on the chisel and roll on over a sharpening stone to sharpen.
