This one should be no different, however, blade sharpening should be done by hand with files rather than an angle grinder for maximum control and best results. **Q: What diameter is the center hole?** A: 1" **Q: Why isn't it sharp out of the package? They are easy to change (just follow the directions in the Ryobi instructions). They are also reversible so one blade easily lasts me through and entire season of weed whacking. Being metal blades, they are great for cutting down larger weeds and plants up to 1/2 inch in diameter. You can even use them to cut small trees and limbs if you hack at them a bit.
