Easy for talking in, and I can wear lipstick (... only relevant if my ultimate destination is good for bare-face, but still kinda nice) *Air still passes through the material easily. (... unless it gets wet, of course which is hard to avoid in certain climates.) Cons: *The ear loops do cause a bit of discomfort after about an hour of continuous wear time. *Because the masks are quite good at keeping droplets in/out, I find that I can get hot quite easily. Not as good for me: Medium is a little small for me (does not reach below the chin, tho I'm U.S. female), so if I talk I have to hold it up. I sent some to my sister, who says they fit her perfectly & she promptly ordered some of her own. For myself, I ordered the Large size, which fits perfectly except that the ear loops need to be tighter (I will figure how to do that). Unknown: I don't know how close it is to the safety of an N95 mask -- but my family member who's a veterinarian thinks it's adequate.
