I wear it for trail running but I swim 3x a week. It can last through 2 or 3 swims depending upon where it's applied. Make sure you follow the directions about how much stretch is needed. If you cut the strips make sure the cut ends are rounded. Apply it at least an hour before your workout. And make sure as you apply it, you rub it to warm up the adhesive which promotes good adhesion. **Q: Do u think there is a difference between the exterm kt tape normal kt tape other than price?** A: Most definitely. I used normal on a muscle spasm in my back. When we’ll applied I could get at least 2 days. I struggled to get 2 days out of pro on my knee just from the amount of movement (10-12k steps a day at work). Extreme did not want to come off. After the first time I removed it I slathered it with lotion before I took it off the next time. When it says extreme, it means it. And I don’t mean any of that negatively. I’ve used it for back support and knee support on a few occasions this past year when my job requires me to be physical. **Q: Why isn’t the beige tape sticking as well as the black? Disappointed !** A: Sandy, I use a ton of KT tape for a variety of reasons, I use all the shapes, and different types of strips. I find that the "Extreme Pro" cut is my favorite and sticks for up to a week, and I shower 2 to 3 times a day. The others tend to stick 3 to 5 days depending on activity. So be certain you are purchasing the Pro Extreme cut strips if you need a long term stick. It is a little more expensive. Its easy to buy the wrong one because they all pop up by price. I have the beige and black uncut, I actually find that the biege and black uncut "Pro" and find they both stick evenly, though not as long as the "pro extreme". There is also a trick to help the uncut to hold better. My PT says for best results you should cut the edges and round them off similar to the cut version. Otherwise it tends to fray up. Lastly, my advice is to compare the Different versions/levels as I think you will find that the "extreme pro" cut strips will give you the best results and stay on the longest. I do mix the versions to save some money. Lastly there is a 3rd version that is neither Pro or Pro Extreme. Avoid that one, it onlys sticks for a day or so and frays a lit. I hope this helps. I live for the stuff because I have bad knees. I cant climb stairs comfortably without the stuff. I live in nyc and have to climb steep subway stairs all the time. It has been a lifesaver!
