Review: Great product all around! - I recently purchased the Down to Earth Organic Alfalfa Meal Fertilizer for my garden, and I am extremely pleased with the results. The product arrived promptly and was well-packaged, with no tears or leaks, ensuring it was in perfect condition upon arrival. From the moment I opened the bag, I could tell that this was a high-quality product. The alfalfa meal has a pleasant, earthy smell and a fine texture that is easy to work into the soil. I appreciate that it’s 100% organic, as I’m committed to using natural products in my garden. I've been using the alfalfa meal in my vegetable garden and flower beds for a few weeks now, and the difference is noticeable. My plants have responded exceptionally well. The vegetable plants are growing more vigorously, with stronger stems and healthier foliage. My flowering plants are blooming more profusely and with more vibrant colors. One of the standout benefits of this alfalfa meal is its ability to improve soil structure and health. It's not just a fertilizer but also a soil conditioner. Since I started using it, the soil in my garden has become more friable and rich, which makes it easier for plants to develop strong root systems. I also appreciate that alfalfa meal provides a slow, steady release of nutrients, which means I don’t have to fertilize as often. The application is straightforward. I mix it into the soil before planting and occasionally top-dress around established plants. The included instructions are clear and easy to follow, making it simple to use even for those who might be new to gardening. Another thing I’ve noticed is an increase in beneficial soil microbes. Alfalfa meal contains natural growth stimulants that encourage microbial activity, which is crucial for healthy soil and robust plant growth. This has made a visible difference in the vitality of my garden. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Down to Earth Organic Alfalfa Meal Fertilizer. It’s a versatile, effective, and easy-to-use product that has significantly improved the health and productivity of my garden. If you’re looking for an organic way to boost your plants and enrich your soil, I highly recommend giving this alfalfa meal a try. It’s made a remarkable difference in my gardening efforts, and I’m sure it will do the same for you. I'm in the south, if that matters.** A: I just sprinkled some on the top soil under the bush, mixed it in and watered it. **Q: Can i just brew this in water and feed it to my plants rather than adding it directly to the soil?** A: Thanks for your interest in Down To Earth Alfalfa Meal. We would not recommend using Alfalfa Meal brewed in water or even in aerobic compost tea. There is very low solubility in most natural dry fertilizers, and there would be minimal benefit to applying in this way. We would recommend adding or mixing in to soil. **Q: Is alfalfa good for clematis** A: Down To Earth Alfalfa Meal is an excellent fertilizer for all types of plants. It will help with growth and stress resistance in particular. The addition of a higher phosphorus fertilizer such as Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal 4-12-0 could also be considered to encourage blooming. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product all around! *by R***K on 21 June 2024* I recently purchased the Down to Earth Organic Alfalfa Meal Fertilizer for my garden, and I am extremely pleased with the results.
