They are made in China not Germany. **Q: I'm working at home and a family with a noisy child moved in next door. The noise is not completely blocked but the muffs sure help. **Q: All other ear protections I've tried do not work for voices. Will these significantly decrease the volume of very loud coworkers?** A: When I wear these my coworkers have to yell and I need to read their lips in order to hear them, I work in a very loud factory.
