You can make a lot of burgers in a short time with very little effort. The adjustable thickness is a great feature. I used to use a manual two piece press that you had to put a lot of pressure on and twist as you pressed, it has now been recycled. This is extremely easy to use. You definitely need waxed paper on each side to prevent them from sticking and making a mess of the press. The patties do come out slightly thicker on one side but it is not anything to worry about. I would definitely recommend this press, even if you are only doing a few burgers at a time!!
