Review: The factory installed handle was plastic, snapped off in my hand. The recliner is only about three years old so that was definitely a “WTF?” moment. Ordered this part with Prime shipping, got it next day, took less than 10 minutes to replace, and works fine. You’ll need two sets of hands to reinstall the handle to the chair as the handle needs to be in open position to install the two screws that fasten it to the chair. As advertised, it is metal, and seems much more sturdy than the original part. No instructions, but it’s easy enough to figure out, just do not forget to attach the U shaped spring clip that holds the cable sheath in place. I anticipate this part lasting for the rest of the life of the chair itself.

The factory installed handle was plastic, snapped off in my hand. The recliner is only about three years old so that was definitely a “WTF?” moment. Ordered this part with Prime shipping, got it next day, took less than 10 minutes to replace, and works fine. You’ll need two sets of hands to reinstall the handle to the chair as the handle needs to be in open position to install the two screws that fasten it to the chair. As advertised, it is metal, and seems much more sturdy than the original part. No instructions, but it’s easy enough to figure out, just do not forget to attach the U shaped spring clip that holds the cable sheath in place. I anticipate this part lasting for the rest of the life of the chair itself.
