It is well balanced and easy to use. I bought it for marinade use, of oourse, but I also purchased it to facilitate transfer of food 'liquids' (hot sauces) from a bulk package to a smaller more handy package. It works extremely well for that purpose. My only concern, and believe me it is very minor, is the bag. It is not of the same quality and almost cheapens the product. The bag is ok for it's purpose, and I won't take away any stars from this review because of the bag. The marinade eBook is a nice touch, too, though it would be good if teaspoon/tablespoon values were given for the mL values. At least the file isn't protected so I used Acrobat DC Pro to add the teaspoon/tablespoon/cup values. Recommended. Review: Leaky injector, taken care of with great customer service! - Just used this injector for the first time today for Thanksgiving turkey prep. I chose this kit mainly because it received good reviews and the reviews were not primarily from people who had received the item for free. I was initially pleased with the appearance of all of the parts of this kit when I unpacked it. I cleaned them, oiled the o-ring, screwed on a needle, and drew in some brine. Imagine my surprise when more brine ended up shooting out the side of the injector, than went into my turkey. Yep. Turns out my injector has a leak at the bottom, where the cylinder meets the cone-shaped piece that the needle attaches to. I was able to make do with what I had by keeping a finger pressed over the leaky spot, but this was definitely a big disappointment. Edit: Almost immediately after I posted my initial review, the seller responded and asked me to email them so they could make it right. My 2-star review was posted on a Saturday. I emailed the seller on Sunday and received a response the same day. A few emails later and an entire replacement set was on its way to me Monday morning, delivered Tuesday afternoon, at no cost to me. Incredible! It was within 15 degrees or so when we used both one night. It's definitely not a high quality product in my opinion but it does the trick. Original review: The injector seems to work well, but there was some false advertising on the company's part. The pictures of the product all show an injector needle with several holes in it, 6 are shown just on the side of the needle we can see. In the picture the holes go nearly halfway up the needle. This is not the case with the actual product I received only had holes on the first inch, and only two rows deep.
