**Q: Can you close a hot fireplace flue with these gloves?**
A: I would think so.  My current use for them is to pull rods out of a small forge to shape into hooks on an anvil.  The iron is in the red-hot state and I'd doubt that your flue lever would be that hot.  If it is, you've got a bigger worry than the gloves.

**Q: do they make this glove in a 16" xxl?**

The gloves come in 16'' and XL, but I believe they would fit your hands, they're pretty large size, and if they don't fit, you could also send them back to amazon for a full refund.

**Q: Where are they made?**
A: It doesn't say on them, but like everything else I'd bet China. They do work great for baking in the oven!

**Q: Will these work to split up dog fights? I have two female pitbulls and recently had to go the ER from a huge gash on my wrist.**
