Review: Absolute Game Changer - Absolute game changer. I'm a very light sleeper who gets too cold and too warm very easily, but this solves that issue. The quick preheating setting is amazing before jumping into bed and it's so cosy. Then I can reduce the heat to what I like and keep that on throughout the night. Since I have a double bed to myself I can have one half of the bed heated and the other half on a lower heat or completely off. This means if I get too hot/cold I can just move over slightly and get that perfect temperature! The controller is easy to use and the settings are easy to understand. I have a mattress topper, protector, and fitted sheet over this and doesn't noticeably affect the heating temp or time. I cannot feel the heating elements through the bed, and it is extremely comfy. Not a bad price either for what it is and this is one of the best one's I've ever used. Would recommend to everyone. WARNING: SIDE EFFECTS INCLUDE NOT WANTING TO LEAVE YOUR BED! Review: Super toasty blanket - We've only used this electric blanket twice but we are delighted with the result. It heats up very quickly if you initially set it to 6 before getting into bed & you can then turn it down to a lower number if so desired. It seems to have a default timer setting of 1 hour before it goes into standby mode, but that is an ideal amount of time while we read our books. Of course, the timer can be adjusted. Unlike most electric blankets, this one covers the whole bed ( we have a double ). As well as our regular mattress, we have a mattress topper, but this doesn't stop the blanket from being fitted with the straps provided, they were able to accommodate the extra height. Something I should point out as it isn't made clear in the description or the pictures for the product is that the two remote controls both have plugs on them, they do not work with batteries & can't be charged, so you will need two mains sockets to plug them into. Overall, this is a great electric blanket that is nice & soft due to the fleece lining & will keep you warm & toasty at bedtime. ## Features - Advanced Dual Heating Technology: Quickly warm each side of your double bed independently within just 5 minutes with Dreamland Intelliheat+ technology. It adjusts automatically to maintain optimal comfort throughout the night without manual intervention - Economical Dual Control Operation: Reduce your heating bills with our energy-efficient blanket that operates at just 1p per hour per control. Dual controls allow each user to customize their side of the bed, ensuring personal comfort without overheating the entire room - Versatile Design for Year-Round Comfort: This reversible blanket features luxurious Sherpa for cold conditions and a lighter side for warmer months, fitted with elasticated corner straps to secure it on any double mattress. Dual controllers adapt to individual seasonal preferences - Personalized Comfort with Independent Controls: Each side of the blanket can be adjusted with its own digital controller, offering 6 temperature settings and timers for automatic shutoff at 1, 3, or 9 hours, ensuring tailor-made warmth and safety for both users - Durable and Easy Care: Designed for long-lasting use and convenience, this blanket is machine washable and tumble dry safe, making maintenance simple and hassle-free while keeping your blanket fresh and clean ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08N4Q9PV7 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Blanket Form | Single Layered Blanket | | Brand | Dreamland | | Brand Name | Dreamland | | Colour | Light Grey | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 241 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Sherpa | | Fabric Warmth Description | tall | | Item Dimensions L x W | 190L x 2W centimetres | | Item Type Name | Over Blanket | | Manufacturer | Dreamland | | Manufacturer Part Number | 16696 | | Material | Sherpa | | Material Type | Sherpa | | Model Name | Dreamland Intelliheat+ fast heat Scandi Full Bed size Sherpa Underblanket | | Model Number | 16696C | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Plaid | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Recommended Uses For Product | Bedtime use | | Seasons | Winter | | Size | 190 x 137cm | | Sleeping Bag Filling Material | Polyester | | Special Features | Reversible | | Special feature | Reversible | | Style | Double Size + 2 Controls | | Style Name | Double Size + 2 Controls | | Theme | Solid | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Weave Type | Plain | ## Product Details - **Material:** Sherpa - **Colour:** White - **Brand:** Dreamland - **Special feature:** Reversible - **Style:** Double Size + 2 Controls ## Images ![Dreamland Hunker Down Electric Blanket, Double Size, Scandi Sherpa - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/717vKENmj9L.jpg) ![Dreamland Hunker Down Electric Blanket, Double Size, Scandi Sherpa - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81xpka03jJL.jpg) ![Dreamland Hunker Down Electric Blanket, Double Size, Scandi Sherpa - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81bQEkKgRGL.jpg) ![Dreamland Hunker Down Electric Blanket, Double Size, Scandi Sherpa - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Yg4Cld6NL.jpg) ![Dreamland Hunker Down Electric Blanket, Double Size, Scandi Sherpa - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vczwQxFYL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute Game Changer *by M***. on 8 January 2026* Absolute game changer. Dual controls work so well as does the 6 setting temperature control and the timer. It warms up very quickly so only needs to go on 10 minutes before going to bed for a lovely, even, warmth across the blanket to the end of the bed. Really good value for money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dreamland Hunker Down Electric Blanket, Double Size, Scandi Sherpa, Two Controllers, Fast Heat Up, Premium Heated Fitted Underblanket, 6 Heat Settings, Machine Washable, Timer, 190 x 137 cm - Dreamland Hygge Days Electric Blanket – Heated throw - Alaskan Husky, Luxury Faux Fur, 5-minute Fast heat up, 6 temperature settings, 1/3/9-hour auto timer, Electric throw, Machine Washable, 160x120cm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/254424616-dreamland-hunker-down-electric-blanket-double-size-scandi-sherpa](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/254424616-dreamland-hunker-down-electric-blanket-double-size-scandi-sherpa) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
