It is gorgeous. The plates are wonderful and large. The appetizer plates are of appropriate size and the soup bowls are not jumbo, just the right size proportionally for a traditional tablescape. For some reason, they have discontinued the Manoir line. I can't think of why unless they plan to bring it back with an alteration in the future. This is a historic pattern by a historic company dating back 3 centuries. I bought two of these 18-piece sets. They are very durable, very heavy for their size, and I would absolutely recommend others buy them, especially at this price while they can because they were originally $400 for one set of 18 pieces.
