**Q: Does this shampoo lather?**
A: I put some on my head then add water from the shower - that makes it lather really well.  Otherwise it doesn't lather much.  I use this with the biotin conditioner and my hair comes away clean and soft.

**Q: Does this shampoo contain protein?**
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out to us.  Our Jason Smoothing Sea Kelp Shampoo, could have plant protein, but we don't test for protein in the final product.

**Q: Anyone used jojoba shampoo since they added castor oil??? i was about to reorder and see that ingredients list has changed. why do they do that???**
A: I like the shampoo with added castor oil more .
Castor oil helps to protect the structure of hair and smith out freeze .

**Q: Has anyone found another brand they like that is as good as the old formula on this one?**
A: Not that I know of.
