I'd rather it be too large than too small. I figured I could always take it in with a bit of sewing. Around the thigh fits pretty good. It is very ample around the waist and rear, but that's ok. The "test" came the same day I got them, and it passed with flying colors. No leaks, no wet spots, no having to change clothes. They are a bit pricey and do make a bit of rustle noise, but they are still worth the money.
