When the battery was removed and tested directly at the battery., they results was "GOOD" battery with a nominal ColdCrankingAmp reading. 2. There are a large number of 'Test Standards' including CCA, MCA, etc. to choose. For example, most Starter batteries in the US are rated for CCA (Cold Cranking Amps at 0F). Use this to provide an accurate assessment against the Battery's Rating. Use the MCA (Marine Cranking Amps) for boat applications where the operating temperature is 32F.
