## Description

The Skar Audio SDR-12 D2 12" Dual 2-ohm subwoofer was engineered to dish out reliable, hard hitting, and low spectrum sound. Featuring a high flux ferrite motor, This woofer will provide extreme power handling for extended periods of time. The SDR series will quickly become a customer favorite, as it's perfect for people just entering the world of car audio all the way up to seasoned pros. The SDR-12 Dual 2-ohm 12-inch car subwoofer features a 2.5” high temperature 4-layer high temperature copper voice coil that is attached to our Skar Audio signature red spider. The surround on the SDR series is a high roll foam surround which allows the woofer to produce riveting low end bass response. The SDR series has a max power rating of 1, 200 watts and a RMS power rating of 600 watts. Sensitivity (SPL): 84.7 dB, mix: 13.5mm one-way, Fs: 32 Hz, frequency response: 22 Hz- 300 Hz, mounting depth: 7.62".

If you're on a budget like I said this is worth a try. The other sub like this is in my truck and it thumps just as deep and gets just as loud.

**Q: Can I put the 1200w monoblock scar amp full blast with 2 of these?**
A: Full blast? The amp gain aint a volume knob. But it should do fine

**Q: Can these handle 800watts rms?**
A: I am running my single 12 on a 1500 watt audiopipe @ 4ohms. Ive maxed out bass boost and gain with no distortion after breaking it in. It hits hard. Hard enough for me. So I'm guessing it can take more abuse than I'm giving it

**Q: Does this sub still sound good with 500 watts RMS at 2 ohm load?**
A: Mine sounds great at 1000 watts

**Q: Will 2 of these fit in a box for a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab?**
A: It would have to be a custom built box. They need alot of air space. I built a sealed non ported box by myself and put it in an old jeep. Jeep has no backseats and it took up all that space minus about 5". Great speakers tho. Powerful

This 12" SDR 1200 watt max 600 watt normal power subwoofer by Skar is amazing. It's the second one I've ordered here from Amazon. The price is not bad and it arrived on time and in great shape. Definitely worth the money especially if your on a budget and want a sub that can get deep.
