Was shipped in a packet not a box which is obviously half the problem. Complete waste of time. Very high chance you will receive it broken with the packaging and obviously the glass is not very thick or robust either. Review: Kombucha on tap! - I wanted to brew Kombucha in a glass jar and this does the trick. I add 4 litres of tea and once brewed I can simply open the tap and empty out as much as I want to bottle. I then top up the jar with fresh tea for my next batch. I may have been better off with the smaller version as this makes a LOT of Kombucha at a time but I'm pleased that it is a good sturdy jar and the tap works fine, no drips. With all parts disassembled: 1. Place one rubber gasket on threaded part of the spigot (valve), 2. now push the threaded segment through the glass of the jar where there's a hole near the bottom, 3. put the other rubber gasket on the spigot inside the jar, 4. place the threaded nut on the threaded part of the spigot and tighten hand tight only (no tools). She wanted a mocktail for it and this looked like a nice dispenser for that. It’s very decently priced and very sturdy. Turns out we keep this in the fridge, filled with our filtered water because it’s much colder than the dispenser on the fridge door. I have been drinking way more water because it’s much colder and convenient. In the summer, when we have barbeques and eat outside, it’ll be great to use with the ice insert to stay cold and bugs won’t get to any sweeter drinks. I highly recommend. One of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon.
