The standard mount also makes assembly easier by allowing you to tilt the antenna into the lower bracket for support during assembly. Thus, you can install the standard support bracket hardware to the mast and then add the antenna plus two sets of fasteners for final assembly. By contrast, this precision kit is intended to be added to the antenna before attachment to the mast, which means the combined dish package you have to lug up your mast all at once just got considerably heavier.
