Light weight and very solid. **Q: What grades are on the adjustable grade indicator?** A: All the standard grades **Q: Is this made in Germany?** A: Not mine, just received today . . . "Made In Japan". I ordered based on the previous answer as I was specifically looking for lead holders from Germany. I guess I'll keep it as it was not expensive. Not about politics here, I have plenty of mechanical pencils and they are all from Japan. In this case I was looking at German brands, i.e, Faber-Castell, Staedtler and Rotring here and I wanted them from Germany for my own aesthetic and/or historical purposes. It feels like a nice pencil so I'll keep it while I'm in search of another Rotring that is actually from Germany.
