Powerful enough?** A: It certainly will go through the vinyl, but the answer you are looking for depends on what the staple will be going into and the length of the staple. I do not recommend buying this stapler. **Q: How is it (easy?) to reattach screens pushed out by my cat and / or to install new screens on my screen porch?** A: You should be able to reattach by taking off the wood strip and. Pull screen back in place by stapling. Ok made me a tool 4 inch’s 2inch. I placed paneling nails in strip so they would protrude through the wood strip about 1/8 inch. Cut me a handle on 30 degrees and pulled screen back in place.
