I was surprised by the weight of it, it did not feel cheap. The nozzles were made of sturdy (plastic?) materials, the base or body of the datavac is made from steel of some type. Ordering this particular datavac was a plus for me as it was 220v and compatible with my country's wattage and i did not need a stepdown (transformer?)for it to work, just plugged it in, we have outlets for plugs that are round.
