Reef Zooplankton is a concentrated blend of marine zooplankton designed to provide the essential fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, amino acids, with biological carotenoids for coral growth. The particle size range is 12.5 500 μm to feed a broad range of marine aquarium inhabitants. Reef Zooplankton contains a natural source of carotenoids which provides essential proteins as well as a more bioavailable source of pigmentation when compared to other natural sources and synthetic pigments. Carotenoids provide the extra benefit of antioxidant activity. **Q: when is the expire date??**
A: I don't see date codes on the bottle, however if does recommend it be refrigerated after opening

**Q: Does it contain live Zooplankton? I want to use them for a Science experiment but they must be living.**
A: No

**Q: can i use these to consume phytoplankton in freshwater tank?**
A: No. This is coral food. If to much is added it will cause high nutrients that will cause hair algue. Snails, hermit crabs & a sponge for plankton build up. Watch your hours of light & setting levels for the light. Hair algue use emerald crabs, sea hair slugs or other clean up crews from your local salt water store

**Q: Anyone use this for bamboo shrimp?**
A: It's for coral & shrimp will eat it as well as crabs
