Initially we found one at the bottom of the reef we were snorkeling and after my daughter tried it we were sold. Since then we purchased one for each kid. Both kids say they are comfortable and the wear it for hours of snorkeling. No complaints of leaking or discomfort. I love that you can get different colors to match a snorkel/fin set to. We've had these masks for the past 4 years and they still look near new. No signs of wear at all... we do take care of them by rinsing in fresh water after saltwater or chlorine pool use but other than that they are left around by the kids and have held up well. As for fit... these would be great for a petite slim faced adult. I have a narrow face and it fits all but my nose but if you have a smaller nose it might work fine. My 14 yo daughter is petite and also has a narrow face and it fits perfect. She's been wearing the same mask for the past 4 years. My youngest daughter is 11 with a rounder face and she's also been wearing the same mask for the past 3 years.
