So don't order one just to try it out; you've got to be committed to this thing.Perfect for theme parks. It is so nice to sit in lines instead of stand. Dland won't let you bring in a folding chair, but they will let you bring a cane chair as long as you assure the NPCs in security that you'll use it as a cane and not a chair. Security will make you stand if they catch you sitting on one out in the open (e.g., parades) but none of the other employees will because they have souls. No matter how many times they catch you sitting on one they cannot make you throw it away, all they can ask you to do is stop sitting. Then you can resume once the robots turn around. In 8 separate occasions of using this at Disneyland I only had one security a-hole ask me to not sit on it, and I was out in the open so it was easy for him to spot me.I don't think this thing will ever break. It doesn't fold up as small as other folding chairs out there, but it makes up for it in sturdiness. The fabric ones tend to rip if you get a crappy brand.The cane tends to come apart as you're walking so it's terribly inconvenient using as a cane. It's the worst cane I've ever used. If you're buying this for the cane, my recommendation would be to try your luck at Walmart or a store that sells wheelchairs/canes where you can try one out, then return them easily if they don't work out.I would also like to note that I got 1 day shipping for this. I had a folding tripod camping chair that folds up SUPER small, and I got caught with it at Disneyland and they literally made me take it back to the Disneyland hotel, so I was able to get this chair at about noon the next day, I just shipped it directly to the hotel front desk and the Amazon app told me when it was delivered. Was recommended to me by others ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, but look for loose nuts *by on Reviewed in the United States October 28, 2013* Overall I'm very pleased except there were two loose nuts and one nut completely missing from one screw. I believe there are only four screws total so that is not a very good average. I found the missing nut in the bag, installed it, and tightened the other two nuts. But if I hadn't I'm sure I would have fallen eventually. So please check all the nuts before you use this cane!!! I need a cane (due to heart trouble) so I use it as a cane as well as a stool. You'll find it works best if you leave the center leg one notch longer than the other two legs. This way all three legs don't hit the ground at the same time. The stool still works fine this way. A couple of times I sat on it backwards (you need to put the handle in front between your legs) and I could tell it was very unstable this way. But used the correct way, I found it pretty comfortable and extremely helpful. I walk my cat (if you can believe that!) and it's very slow going. We walk 10-20 feet and then hang out for a while. I always bring a book as it can be a little boring. It was very hard on my to do this "walk" until I got this cane. Now it's a piece of cake. I found it a little hard, at first, to figure out the best way to open the stool. But now I've got the hang of it and it's really easy to do.
