Not sure what initiated them to recommend 1.5 sizes larger. I figured other were saying that ran really small. I really wanted 'step-in's which are so easy to put on standing up These took some extra time to get my foot into them and they were way too big. My bad for listening to the recommendation so I am returning due to fit and too much time getting into them (for me). But, I really liked the look and style of them and they were comfortable and seemed to have good arch support. Lightweight.
