One of my typical cereal box measures 7-3/4 x 2 x 11-1/4. I did not know the 8 inch is inside measurement.** A: The actual measurement of the bin inside is 7 3/4". The bottom of the bin has a rounded edge bringing that measurement to slightly more than 7 1/2". This bin is not going to meet your needs. **Q: Can this bin hold typical cereal boxes? One of my typical cereal box measures 7-3/4 x 2 x 11-1/4. I did not know the 8 inch is inside measurement.** A: It will prob just fit. When I measure inside space is about 7 3/4 inches **Q: Are these very clear see-through bins? As in a crisper clear plastic for seeing through it completely for a display inside it?** A: Yes, they are crystal clear and attractive. Unfortunately, they must be hand-washed.
