Needles, swatches, thread, swatches, fabric glue and pencil, and a very pretty pre-made dress that the little ones can just add fancy stuff too if they want (I think it ran big though). There was more but I bought it a while ago so I can't remember everything. Little hangers for clothes. (Having a case to keep everything in would have been nice - but probably would have made the product more expensive.) There was a lot to "explore" with the kit so it wasn't just ripping it open and throwing it aside. It's definitely something to sit down with. It comes with a lot of pins and basically, she was pinning everything in place and then taking it apart after showing it to her mom or me or some other adult. This toy is what you make of it. It is very open to creativity and can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. It comes with a brochure on what the fashion design process is. It can be as simple an straight pinning fabric to the manikan, or you can sketch idea, pull fabric samples and then sew the dress together.
