Would prefer straw lid** A: Yes the chug cap is removable. I did the same thing for my wife, replacing chip cap with straw lid **Q: Where is this manufactured?** A: It's made in China. By Chinese law, a percentage of any profits made by the manufacturing facility are paid to the CCP. The standard is 25%. **Q: Is ice able to get through the chug cap, or does it block it?** A: I use my 26oz bottle every day, I fill it up with ice cubes from my fridge dispenser and it doesn’t come through the chug cap when drinking.
