A: I guess you can call them dill pickles, but they are not as sour or sharp  as the American bran of dill pickles.

A: I take a old style bottle opener and work it between the lid and the glass very carefully and pry just enough to let the air out.You will hear a small whoosh. Then it will twist right off with your hand. It's not easy but the pickles are worth it.
