The first time I wore it, the scent was overwhelmingly cedar forward. A few days later I grabbed the sweater that I wore while trying this fragrance on and noticed it smelled wonderful. I decided to give it another try, this time really working it into my skin to warm it up. It seems to soften and sweeten up a bit over time. In my personal opinion, I still think it would be perfect without the cedar but it's starting to grow on me. (As a side note, it smells similar to my favorite candle, Patchouli Oud by DW Home. Definitely recommend it if you like this fragrance. ) TLDR; Cedar forward but as it warms up on the skin and becomes a bit sweeter.
