Numi introduced organic wild-harvested honeybush to the United States in 1999. We source only from farms with conservation management plans rather than overharvested public lands, protecting a plant that grows wild in South Africa's fynbos region, one of the most biodiverse plant communities on Earth. This tea is crafted with 100 percent real, organic honeybush, no added flavorings, artificial fragrances, or added sugar. Every tea bag is made from manila hemp (Abacá) fiber, sealed with a crimp-and-knot process instead of the plastic heat-seals used in most tea bags, so no polypropylene ever touches your cup. The bags are BPI Certified Biodegradable and supplier-verified free of added plastics or microplastics — not just labeled that way. The outer wrapper is plant-based and commercially compostable, made from FSC-certified paper and non-GMO sugarcane. Certified USDA Organic and Climate Neutral Certified. **Q: Are the bags bleached?**
A: Hello. Our teabags are compostable and made from Manila hemp cellulose. They are not bleached. They are oxygen-whitened,  non-GMO verified and the tag is made from 100% recycled material and soy-based inks. Enjoy!

**Q: I'm new to breakfast tea.  Does this taste similar to regular black teas (e.g. Newman's Own Royal Tea)?**
A: To me the flavor is somewhat more complex and sophisticated than that of an average black tea.  It is more mellow and less sharp.   I drink it every morning and like it very much.

**Q: Does this collection box has different flavors in it?**
A: Cannot notice any!

**Q: The title said full leaf, so is the tea ground or more like a loose leaf tea?**
A: It's in a bag, but it looks like it's ground. Not super ground into tiny bits like most teas, but not full leaves either in my opinion.
