Review: Very lovely tea that has become a favorite! - It's a wonderful, smooth, spiced chai. Smells amazing, tastes amazing. I love that it's not caffeinated either; most chai is made with black tea (which has caffeine), but this is made with rooibos (making it an herbal/no caffeine tea). It's quickly become one of my favorite teas. It's flavorful and spiced without being too strong or heavy. It's definitely it's own unique, and quite good, tea, but if I had to say a tea it was closest to I think it could be like a cousin of a Bengal tea. If you haven't tried rooibos before, don't worry about it being too strong. This tea has all the spice and flavor of a regular chai and the rooibos sits nicely in the background. I can't really say what exactly the rooibos tastes like, it blends so well with the spices that it's hard to distinguish on it's own, but I'm sure it does have a flavor that's being contributed to the overall taste of the tea. The tea is earthy (in a good, mellow way, like a ginger earthy. Not like potato skin or dirt got in your mouth earthy), spiced, and smooth. It's not spicy, but spiced in a flavorful and fulfilling way. It's a great comfort tea that provides a warming spice with a calming, aromatic depth. I would definitely recommend it. It's a great tea to have around, caffeine free too, and works well for any occasion. I've gone through two boxes from the store and when I couldn't find it at my local store anymore I got my third box from here. I had a friend try it that normally isn't that big on teas and chai, and they liked this, so I think it would be a fairly palatable tea for most people. It's like the chicken soup of teas to me; very likeable and flavorful in a calm but deep/complex way.

**Q: Are the bags bleached?**
A: Hello. Our teabags are compostable and made from Manila hemp cellulose. They are not bleached. They are oxygen-whitened,  non-GMO verified and the tag is made from 100% recycled material and soy-based inks. Enjoy!

**Q: I'm new to breakfast tea.  Does this taste similar to regular black teas (e.g. Newman's Own Royal Tea)?**
A: To me the flavor is somewhat more complex and sophisticated than that of an average black tea.  It is more mellow and less sharp.   I drink it every morning and like it very much.

**Q: Does this collection box has different flavors in it?**
A: Cannot notice any!

**Q: The title said full leaf, so is the tea ground or more like a loose leaf tea?**
A: It's in a bag, but it looks like it's ground. Not super ground into tiny bits like most teas, but not full leaves either in my opinion.

Love this tea so much it has the best taste a light chai and it smells good. It tastes great just like chai tea. I add almond milk and some agave and it’s great!
