I will start by saying that the clasps could absolutely be heavier duty.....HOWEVER.....this product was 13$ and for that price I am in LOVE with what I received. Dog products are purchased constantly by me as well as my clients ( I am a dog trainer) so for me to say I like a product means it is a solid product. The bungee is a nice touch as it gives a little forgiveness as the dog self corrects itself for pulling too hard or taking the slack out of the leash. If you have never used a hands free leash you have no idea what you are missing. Once the leash is out of your hand walking a dog becomes a totally different experience. The belt stays in place and I really like that the length isn't extremely long since they are large dogs (I have another hands free leash that is 48" and it ends up getting in the way), but does stretch when they need a little more room. The only thing I wish was different, is the way the handle is stitched, they could have made it so the handle stays open, making it easier to get your hand in when needed.*I will add that my dogs are leash trained and do not pull. As long as you can keep them on either side, not directly in front of you. The bungee portion is about 32 inches long.The plastic piece holding the second D ring in place did snap off (from a strong pull to chase a deer) but he doesn't mind having one side slide around. i would say they should just not put that plastic piece on the second D ring. Otherwise it is a great product.
