Review: Little more advanced than I expected but still love it. - I often feel like they skipped some valuable steps, but it has so many good excercises in it to practice that I don't mind. I would not start with this book if you are just learning to draw. I would likely go with a drawing basics book and then practice character drawing prior to getting this book. If you dont know much about character drawing then you will struggle with this book a bit. However, it goes into how they drew some of the classic cartoons that we all know and love. I don't regret this purchase whatsoever. Its going to help me in many ways.

I often feel like they skipped some valuable steps, but it has so many good excercises in it to practice that I don't mind. I would not start with this book if you are just learning to draw. I would likely go with a drawing basics book and then practice character drawing prior to getting this book. If you dont know much about character drawing then you will struggle with this book a bit. However, it goes into how they drew some of the classic cartoons that we all know and love. I don't regret this purchase whatsoever. Its going to help me in many ways.

Really nice for reference or interest in animation. You pay for what you buy. Contains many pictures and short introduction for animation. If you're looking for a super detailed book then this is not for you but still a great book.
