**Q: Hi - would this be recommended for use as a yoga mat?  Is the surface slippery?**
A: Introductory class yoga for the purpose of relax is not slippery. Full-fledged yoga for intermediate or higher classes is not recommended due to slipping feet. Because the direction of the tatami stitch is parallel to the longest side of the tatami.

**Q: What is the weight for the twin?  it shows 7.65 pounds, but the weight for the larger twin xl only shows 6.5 pounds.**
A: We rechecked the weight of the items itself (not the shipping weight). Twin is 6.3Lbs and Twin XL is 6.9Lbs. It is possible that the notation was the shipping weight. We will fix the display. Thank you very much.

**Q: Will the grass smell of the mat attract rodents like mice and rats?**
A: It smells of natural grass. This is a favorite scent for Japanese people as if they were bathing in the forest. However, some people who are not accustomed to smelling may find it unpleasant.

**Q: Is this comfortable enough to sleep on by itself or does it need a mattress with it?**
A: Sleeping only on tatami mat feels stiff, so it is not recommended. If you just want to relax or sit down, you can just use the tatami mat. If you sleep at night, you need to lay a futon mattress on the tatami mat.

This is our second tatami mat purchase from this company and we are more than happy with the mats. They are beautiful and very comfortable to lay and sit on. A good sturdy thickness and well designed. Our cats even love to lay on them. The mats are easy to was and vacuum, and easy to take apart and rearrange into various shapes to fit your room. The mats are thick and cushioned, and have a nice grassy smell to them that we find relaxing. Very good quality product. After two weeks of using it - still smells as grass which is nice and calming. Folds nicely. Easy to clean. Not the cheapest bust worth the money in my opinion.
