If you forget, destinations are on the connectors for reminding. I'm going the opposite direction of many users with two monitors on one computer. I now have two computers on one monitor courtesy of this cable. One computer is a new Windows 11 system, while the other computer is a 10-year-old non-updatable Windows 10 system. The only reason for the old computer remaining is that it has the ability for CD games that don't work on the new computer (not even with an optical drive).
